ESP'S 17TH ANNIVERSARY

Hello ESPers, do you know how old is ESP this year? Well, ESP was founded in the end of 20th century which is 2000. It means that ESP is now having its sweet seventeen birthday. The exact date of ESP’s birthday is on the National day of our national principle, Pancasila. Correct!!! It is June 1st 2000.

This year birthday or anniversary of ESP was held on Ramadhan, that is the reason why the anniversary of ESP was commemorated directly with break fasting together after the Maghrib prayer. It was held at the lobby of F building of FTP. On that day, we were having some games and sharing with the alumnae of ESP, and it was so interesting.

The celebration of the anniversary didn’t stop on that, a few months later (23rd-24th September 2017) we held the second celebration of anniversary of ESP by doing a two days one night activity in Bedengan Camping Area, it is located about 9 km from University of Brawijaya, Malang. The location was so calm, freeze, and very nice to free our mind from stressful college tasks.

Because it is far from the Campus, we went to the camp area by motorcycle and others went by public transportation that we rent on that day. After arriving at the camping area, we went to the F ground as our location to build our giant tent. We brought two giant tent and it was suoer heavy. Then, we set up our giant tent and most of us didn’t know how to set it up, only one person knew about how to do it. We need about more than 10 persons to set up the tent. We were having our own role in building the tent together, it was a very nice moment in learning togetherness. We need about 3 hours to set up one tent. After the first tent was set up, we were so tired and decided that we won’t set up the second tent because we lack of energy and the sky was getting darker. After Isya prayer we were having opening session and camp fire. It was so memorable, because we were having fun there by having some games together and singing together or even dancing together. It was one of the best night in ESP's journey.

Who wants a rose from Mr President?

In the next morning, we were having morning exercise. After that, we had game session that divided into different places and every place had different game. We were having game session until 11 am, it was very fun although very tired too. After the game session we had lunch together. Then, as the closing, we had the sharing present session. It was one of biggest event of ESP and it was very fun program that can improve our teamwork and togetherness. Hopefully, this program will be held in the next period.
